Lonnie and Susan have given Virginia Mason the immeasurable gift of time and talent, providing wisdom and guidance on our boards and committees for many years. Additionally, they have been generous philanthropists to Virginia Mason — supporting Bailey-Boushay House, Benaroya Research Institute, multiple capital projects, patient services and transforming health care across the health system.

“Virginia Mason is dedicated to being a quality leader and improving health care,” Lonnie says. “I’ve been passionate about this throughout my career, and Virginia Mason’s vision inspires us to support them. Supporting Virginia Mason means we’re helping them transform health care. Sometimes that’s helping Bailey-Boushay House serve the homeless. Other times, it’s supporting obstetrics to elevate care for babies. We’re honored to receive this award. It feels great to play a small part in this work.”

Virginia Mason has been extremely fortunate to have had their leadership, dedication and support. Congratulations to Lonnie and Susan.
